Bonnie Lau, Dietician

bonnie lau Bonnie’s love for food and passion in empowering people to enrich their health through food led her to study Nutrition and Dietetics, graduating from Queensland University of Technology in Australia. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) of the Dietitians Association of Australia.

She was born in Hong Kong, moved to Australia when she was young, and have been working and living in Singapore. She worked as a dietitian across two of the largest hospitals in Singapore (Singapore General Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital) for 3.5 years and became interested in the powerful impact that lifestyle can have in managing chronic diseases. She currently counsels patients via a mobile app called GlycoLeap.

Her Loves: Food is one of her greatest passions. She likes going out to try new cuisines and dishes as well as experimenting cooking delicious and nourishing dishes at home.

Her Philosophy: With so many diet myths and conflicting research that leave people feeling confused and deprived, her goal is to work through the maze together and to create healthy habits, not restrictions. We eat at least three times a day and that is something that we look forward to and connects us with other people. She hopes that she can support you to sustain a healthy relationship with food that fits into your lifestyle and make choices to let food be a form of medicine not merely to be alive, but to live well for life.
