Tea aficionados! Rejoice as the Singapore Tea Festival is back on its third edition and is slated to be its biggest run yet. Proudly presented by teapasar, a global tea marketplace, the Singapore Tea Festival will be featuring over 50 tea time brands at Jewel Changi Airport from the 19th to 21st July.
Pétale’s Blooming Tea
The three-day festival celebrates tea brands and craftsmen from all over the world and invites you to engage and discover the world of tea with all its present and future innovations. Thus, be in for an experience where your tea experience will be enhanced with all the brands showcasing their best of the best!
Things to look forward to
Some highlights during the event are some new launches – including UK brand Pukka, known for their organic herbal teas, making its official debut at the Singapore Tea Festival; and Kindred Teas’ bottled cold-brewed Rooibos Orange with Honey. For the first time, the festival will also feature Bubble Tea, where visitors can enjoy creative flavours such as Herbal Mint (Pei Pa Kao) Milk Tea from Woobbee, or feast your eyes on blossoming floral teas that bloom as they steep.
Besides drinking your tea, you can also eat it with specialty chocolates by Fossa Chocolate x Pekoe & Imp! Available in flavours of Oolong, Hongcha and Duckshit (nope, we’re not ducking around and yes, it really is the name of a tea), you can savour the best of tea and chocolate in a bar.
There’s more to tea than drinking it! Natural skincare brand oasis:skin has teamed up with teapasar to infuse real tea leaves into solid shampoos and conditioners to nourish hair right from the roots with all the goodness of tea!
Masterclasses and championships
You can sign up for one of the many masterclasses conducted by global and local experts to uncover unknown tea stories or gain insights into the tea culture of Japan, Korea, Nepal and more. Watch the hottest talents vie for the top spot in the Tea Masters Cup and Kombucha Brew-off.

Enhanced experience with technology
The Singapore Tea Festival will also see the launch of teapasar’s ProfilePrint – a rapid food scanner that identifies a tea’s quality, taste profile and origins based on metabolomic fingerprint and machine-learning algorithms. Developed in Singapore, it aims to bring greater transparency and efficiency to the food industry. The technology can also recommend the perfect foods that will compliment your selection of teas to bring out fuller-tasting, well-rounded flavours for an enhanced tea time experiences.
This technology is important for consumers due to food authenticity – are you drinking real tea or overpriced misrepresented ones? This will also affect the legitimate businesses and tea farmers, helping to build a strong, sustainable tea community while improving the quality and supply of tea leaves.
To experience ProfilePrint, head over to teapasar’s booth and you can also redeem a complimentary reusable Yixing purple clay glazed porcelain cup for you to sample teas at the various booths. We love the sustainable efforts!
