We’re soon going to say goodbye to the year of the rooster and welcoming the year of the dog, and it’s also time to plan reunion dinners or lunches with family. Besides having the traditional hotpot at home, many people are opting to do their reunion dinners out of home so that it is less stressful (imagine the clean up!) and less of a hassle, especially when the family gets larger with more additions with every growing year. So let’s take a look at some go-to restaurants to visit this Chinese New Year, with delicious food and extraordinary offers that’ll have you drooling in your seat.
Remember the simple rules when it comes to eating during the festivities:
- Plan your exercises before or after a large meal
- Remember your portion sizes and eat till you’re just full
- Load up more on the vegetables
- Stay away from sugary drinks
- Avoid too much oil or sugar into your meals (e.g. the oil and plum sauce used in the Yu Sheng)
