Tons of people will be coming to Singapore in the next week to get a glimpse of one of the biggest events – the F1 Grand Prix. The famous racing event brings guests from all walks of light, each one with the hope of getting even a glimpse of the cars and races that happen during the race.
But there’s another thing about the F1 Grand Prix that stands out, which are the fabulous parties and after parties that fill up the island throughout the three-day event. We’re talking places offering up the best music, alcohol and entertainment all for one long weekend.
As you might guess, there’s a lot to pick from when it comes to these parties, and that is why we’ve taken the time to highlight the best parties that will happen during the F1 Grand Prix and how to party while still keeping yourself fit and healthy.
Sky on 57
Originally established by the famous chef Justin Queck, Sky on 57 offers guests a brilliant view of the city, which is just what’s needed for an event like the F1 Grand Prix. You’ll be able to dine, drink and have fun all from a great vantage point high in the sky while still being able to get a good look at the races below.
Sky on 57 stands as one of Marina Bay Sands’ best restaurants and can be found on Tower 1, Sands Skypark on 10 Bayfront Avenue.
If you want to enjoy some fine dining while watching the races then [email protected] just for their food alone, offering a varied menu of Japanese, Chinese and French cuisine for everyone to enjoy. It’s not just the food that’ll make this place worth it. However, [email protected] has transparent windows from top to bottom, meaning that you’ll get to see the races clearly from the comfort of your table inside the building.
Check out [email protected] at the rooftop level of 50 Coller Quay, OUE Bayfront.
If it’s about views, then JAAN doesn’t fail to impress, standing at a 70th floor this restaurant will allow you to get a clear view of the track. Not just that, but once the race ends you can still enjoy their glamorous menu, first class service and quiet atmosphere, especially if you want to get away from all the loud celebrations down below.
For a night of peace and glamour try JAAN at Level 70 Equinox Complex, Swissotel The Stamford.
There might be other restaurants that offer great food, service or view but Zafferano stands out even among that. Unlike the other restaurants, Zafferano offers a themed menu and itinerary specially made for the F1 Grand Prix, combined with its amazing view of the tracks.
The food won’t disappoint either, as Zafferano’s Italian cuisine is both delicious and embodies the spirit of the race.
Zafferano is on Ocean Financial Centre at Level 43, Collyer Quay.
Monti is one of Singapore’s latest dining experience, offering a jazz-inspired restaurant with great music, cocktails and a view to match.
For the F1 Grand Prix, Monti is sparing no expense with guests such as DJ Mack, Orio and Roco, among other entertainers. You’d also be able to enjoy the dance floor and rooftop bar once the race ends.
Ticket prices will be sold at the door for S$50 and S$150 for the Early Bird special and S$60 and S$160 on the day of the event per person, plus an extra payment for a two-hour free flow of Veuve Cliquot from 10 pm till midnight.
Monti can be found at the Fullerton Pavillion, 82 Collyer Quay.
Our last entry for this list is also our most glamorous one by far. If you want to enjoy a first class level F1 Grand Prix after part with all the implications associated to it then Podium Lounge is the way to go. This event will last for three days, starting from 15 September and going all the way through Saturday and Sunday.
This party doesn’t just offer dinner and a view either. In the nine years since this party has been held, many famous stars from the filmmaking industry to models, singers and even the racers have set foot there. There’s no difference this year, with artists such as Grammy Award winners Coolio and Macy Gray making appearances and singing some of their best songs, and the event will also have special guests Miss Universe Somalia 2014, Maria Rahjeng, and former F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella.
VIP guests will also receive a bottle of Champagne Duva-Leroy and enjoy some amazing performances throughout the three nights.
The Podium Lounge will be held at The Ritz-Carlton, Millennia Singapore Central Ballroom Level 1. Make sure to get your tickets!
These are only some of the restaurants and parties so pick the place of your choice and prepare for a night (or nights) of fun on this F1 Grand Prix. If you’re planning to go to the walkabout before the race, check out our September Wellness Box which will have a special F1 theme!
