There has been a lot of talk about going on detox diets by health ‘gurus’ or wellness-related companies but is there a medical or scientific basis to this? Also, quite a few medical doctors have said that it is not necessary to go for any detox diet because the body itself has a natural detoxification system.

This week, we discuss this topic with wellness coach Chong Su Lee as she gives her view on detox and why it is important to do so at least annually. We also received quite interesting comments from a viewer who informed us that livestock imported into Singapore does not contain any hormone injections!

Vinnie certainly gave us a lot of tips and tricks on how to effectively do a digital detox as a family as well as alternative activities that will help occupy your young ones while activating their creativity!

Losing weight is not easy for most people and every body (yes, the body itself) is different, which is why merely doing aerobics or simply cutting back on certain foods may not necessarily help you on your weight loss journey. Moreover, most people are so obsessed with the scales that they forget that building muscles are important too. Here’s my story on how I managed to lose 9kg within 10 months. I’m now maintaining the weight and am still on the road to try and lose more fats.
